Miracleman

Miracleman

Creation & Design

Miracleman was created by writer Mick Anglo in the 1950s as a British superhero, originally known as Marvelman. Alan Moore reimagined the character in the 1980s, giving him a darker and more complex narrative.

Early Years

Initially appearing in children's comics, Miracleman was revived by Alan Moore in the 1980s, leading to a more mature and sophisticated storytelling approach.

Character Development

Over the years, Miracleman has evolved from a simple superhero into a complex character that embodies themes of power, responsibility, and the consequences of one's actions.

Miracleman has been critically acclaimed for its innovative storytelling and mature themes, often regarded as one of the greatest comic book series of all time.

128-page hardcover collection titled 'Olympus' that collects Miracleman #11 - #16 (1985 series)
This edition of Miracleman is undoubtedly scarce but for some time, the substantial dollar value associated with Miracleman hardcover and softcover collected trades were the result of legal issues preventing the stories from being reprinted which has since changed though it is reasonable that demand for this particular hardcover with dustjacket continues to command the value that it does
