Synopsis
THE MYSTERY OF MADCAP ISLAND Batman and Robin trail the Green Hood Gang to Madcap Island, a place dotted with wealthy men's summer homes, all built in the symbols of their various businesses. While on the island, they begin to chase the Green Hood Gangster that led them to the island. After a quick investigation, Batman finally deduces that the leader of the gang is the owner of a Batman house and the Dynamic Duo proceeds to capture the criminal and his accomplices. THE ALIEN BOSS OF GOTHAM CITY Batman and Robin seem stymied by the otherworldly weapons of the Gimmick Gang, whose leader is unmasked as an apparent alien. The gangsters are successful on their crimes until Batman deduces that the alien is not what it looks like. After the next heist perpetrated by the gangsters, the alien apparently delivers them to the authorities and then goes to the home of another notorious gang boss. In the house, the alien explains that he is truly an alien and that the gang boss impersonated him, using the alien devices found in a spaceship on the outskirts of Gotham. Afraid of the alien, the gang boss gives a confession, but also goes to attack the alien with one of the space weapons. Robin strikes at that moment, disarming the gangster and soon, Batman takes off the alien costume, revealing that the whole situation was a hoax to make the gangster confess. As Batman takes the criminal to the police, he explains that he realized that the alien had to be a normal human in disguise after he spoke a common human slang phrase.
