Betty and Hasslehead High's Cyndi Washington are the favorites to win the Tri-City High Schools mini-marathon. But Betty's kindness may cost her the race. Archie delivers pizza to the home where Betty is babysitting. She tries to get him to stay and recruits the twins to help. Betty's dad tries to blend in with Betty's friends, but finds the generation gap too wide to bridge. Betty is rapidly tiring of hearing her father's old stories, until she hears one old story he never talks about.
