Synopsis

BATMAN’S DOUBLE With his Van Cleer alias lost to him, Killer Moth decides to steal the identity of Bruce Wayne. For this purpose, Moth hires a plastic surgeon to alter his face into an exact double of Wayne's and manages to lock the real Bruce inside an abandoned bank vault. With the new face, Moth fools Dick Grayson, who accidentally reveals the secret identities of Batman and Robin to the criminal. In this way, Moth is able to impersonate Batman, which he uses to his advantage to enhance Killer Moth's reputation, by making it appear that Batman fears the Moth. Bruce Wayne escapes in time to rescue Robin from Killer Moth and afterwards, they follow the criminal, who has now revealed his true intentions. At that moment, one of the thugs Killer Moth was supposed to protect, shoots the criminal mastermind thinking he's been doublecrossed after he watches Batman and Robin arrive. Moth's face is wrecked by the bullets, and the resultant cranial injury causes him amnesia. Batman and Robin are relieved at the news, which mean that their secret identities are safe once again.
