Synopsis

"The Making of a Comic Book Part Three and Four" a 2 page text piece by Mike Gold. Things get worse for heroes all over the world as G. Gordon Godfrey poisons the population. Things become so extreme that President Ronald Reagan puts a stop to heroes. Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) gets shot in the shoulder, Robin (Jason Todd) gets beaten almost to death and the Justice League is almost destroyed. The Suicide Squad is created in response to the situation.
