Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including -- "The Cult of Fire-Men", featuring the Human Torch:  The Torch has a real dilemma: he has to track down members of the Fire Cult who have committed a murder, but the man murdered was intending to destroy the world! -- "Blitzing the U-Boat Base", featuring the Sub-Mariner:  After Namor successfully routs invading Nazi paratroopers on an island Dorma and he arrived on for a rest, questioning of the Nazi Lieutenant reveals that the Axis Powers have built a secret submarine base on a little known island 20 miles from the coast of Florida. So Dorma and he head for that base to tackle the Nazi horde. -- "The Werewolf Strikes", featuring the Vision:  The Vision must battle two werewolves, one in reality Gordon Sanders, a member of the ill-fated Medwick Expedition that discovered a lost Tibetan city called the City of Demons, where he was bitten by such a creature. -- "Escape from New York", featuring Ka-Zar:  Ka-Zar succeeds in getting Zar out of the zoo he is imprisoned in, and hides out on a British boat heading toward Africa. Unfortunately, the boat is torpedoed by an enemy submarine. -- Plus:  Electro, Terry Vance, and the Angel!
