Synopsis
The Swamp Thing returns to Indiana where he used to live before he was captured. Abby and Matt are looking for him and they find him completely rooted in the ground, growing plants and with insects living in his swampy "body", Abby thinks he's dead until The Floronic Man appears and says otherwise. He explains Abby that The Swamp Thing found out about his origins and what he really is and couldn't take it, he has now given up and has decided to stop pretending it's a human being.The Floronic Man has being studying him since he helped him out of Sunderland's corporation building in Washington. He has learned more about The Swamp Thing and using electrodes connects himself with it experiencing what it feels to be one with nature, experiencing what plants all around the world feel.In the meantime, The Swamp Thing is having horrible nightmares about death, losing of humanity and plane worms.
