Synopsis
NOTE: While this is indeed the third issue of Whiz Comics and labeled as such, the previous issue was also labeled as #3. This first is now commonly known as #3A while this issue is known as #3B. Numbering continues correctly with the fourth issue as #4. A collection of comics and stories, including -- "Sivana's Venusian Kingdom" , featuring Captain Marvel : Billy receives a news tip from an eccentric professor, not knowing the man is actually Sivana, who rockets with Billy to the planet Venus. Captain Marvel is captured as Sivana and Beautia head back to Earth, where the evil scientist plans on using a paralyzing gas over America, making every man, woman, and child his slave. -- "The Mask's Anti-Aircraft Gun" , featuring Spy Smasher : In the Rocky Mountains, the Mask is being paid by the Rooskan government to shoot down USAAF Flying Fortresses with a stolen experimental anti-aircraft artillery piece. -- "The Return of King Senwosri" , featuring Ibis the Invincible : Ibis must stop a second newly-resurrected pharaoh, King Senwosri, from executing an American archaeologist. PLUS : The Golden Arrow, Dan Dare, Scoop Smith, and Lance O'Casey!!
