Fabian Nicieza is an Argentine-American comic book writer and editor who is best known for his work on Marvel titles such as X-Men, X-Force, New Warriors, Cable, Deadpool, and Thunderbolts, for all of which he helped create numerous characters, among them Deadpool, Domino, Shatterstar and Silhouette.

Suffering from amnesia after time-traveling, Legion recovers in a hospital where he encounters Magneto, reads his mind and views the horrors of his past in a concentration camp. Legion involuntarily recreates these scenes in Magento's mind which causes him to lash out, then run to Xavier to report the stranger's phenomenal powers
Legion successfully defeats the X-Men and seeks to drive a psychic blade into Magneto's brain but Xavier physically intervenes and is killed. With that, the future is now changed, Legion will no longer be born and the future from which they came, ceases to exist
